The legacy continues with an all new Rictor built on a more versatile and wider waisted chassis complete with top shelf performance, unmatched edge hold, and unrivaled control. If you liked the Rictor of the past, you will love this new version with ROX Technology! With a slightly tweaked shape, these skis are ready to rip turns on the frontside and everywhere else on the mountain better than ever.
ROX Technology is a combination of the core, MOD Suspension, Carbon Web, and Speed Rocker Technology. The ski is designed with a primary core and structural layers that determine flex. MOD is a secondary core that acts as a suspension system quieting the ride of the ski without affecting flex. A raised X-shaped carbon support is laid on top of the MOD furthest from the core to increase torsional rigidity for greater edge hold. Carbon Web is located in the tail and the forebody of the ski increasing edge grip when you need it most. The 10% of Speed Rocker makes for effortless turn initiation and accuracy. Without rocker, a ski with this much torsional rigidity strength would be nearly impossible to get into a turn.
